We constantly receive requests for lighter yet nonetheless reliable instruments, such as stainless-steel ones. Since we cannot change the material used for the tips, to cut down the weight we can only work on the handles. Therefore, we have started production of a completely new series of instruments with light-material handles. As others have done it before us, we first focused on analyzing the state of the art of existing products in order to improve their characteristics and correct any defects.

Materials: In most cases, handles are made of silicon which is a great, heat-resistant material, but which tactile features may cause, when used over a long period of time, tension to the carpal tunnel, leading to fatigue and pain.

We chose to go a different way by using stress-resistant composite material, with a “dry”, non-fatiguing feel and a secure grip. This material has been tested for and is used in the food industry, hence completely non-toxic and free from any potentially hazardous substances. Autoclave sterilization causes no change in either shape or colour.

The EVO / Den Tag solution: Our handle is made of just one thermoplastic composite material. This procedure eliminates internal longitudinal metal cores with an evident weight reduction and the elimination of backlash and cracks deriving from the contact of very different materials. This also eliminates problems linked to potential bacterial proliferation, caused by the creation of air bubbles, deriving from the different expansion gradients of materials during the heating/cooling phases of the sterilization cycle.

The lawful basis for the processing is: Contractual obligation
The provision of data is mandatory and required by legal and contractual obligations. Therefore, any refusal to provide the personal data will cause the impossibility to provide the requested services.

2. Processing procedures
The Data will be processed by the Data Controller with electronic systems in compliance with the principles of fairness, correctness and transparency required by the applicable legislation on the protection of personal data. The controller will protect the confidentiality of the Data through technical and organizational measures to ensure an adequate level of security.

3. Data retention period
The data will be processed for a period necessary to verify that the message does not contain spam and / or other abuses. Afterwards, the data will be deleted.

4. Disclosure and Transfer of Data
The Data will be processed, insofar as it is necessary, by authorized personnel, adequately trained by the Data Controller and by third parties who provide services to the Data Controller and process data as Data Processor (according to the instructions of the Data Controller)..
The data subject's data will be processed temporarily for the sole purpose of acquiring the message and forwarding it to the relevant exhibitor. Following the transmission of the message, the exhibitor will directly manage the relationship with the data subject. Consequently, after the transmission of the message, the exhibitor will assume the role of data controller.

5. Rights of the Data Subject
The Data Subject may exercise the rights granted by the GDPR (articles 15-22), including:
a. Right to receive confirmation as to whether the Data Controller is processing the Data Subject’s personal data (access rights);
b. Right to update, modify and / or correct personal data (right of rectification);
c. Right to request the erasure of data or the restriction of processing. This right can be granted if the process is unlawful or the controller no longer needs the personal data for the purposes of the processing (right to be forgotten and right to restriction of processing);
d. Right to oppose to the processing (right of opposition);
e. Right to propose a complaint to the Supervisory Authority in case of violation of the regulations regarding the protection of personal data;
f.
